At Intelligent Data, we are celebrating the launch of a revamped advanced telecare service in the Canary Islands, as announced by the newspaper Canarias7 in its digital edition. This project marks a turning point in the care of dependent persons in the Canary Islands and positions this autonomous community as a benchmark at the national and international level.

Backed by the Canary Islands Government, this initiative combines technological innovation and public care policies. Intelligent Data is participating in this project as the main technology provider, through our family of ID Vita Home devices and advanced sensor solutions.

In this first phase of deployment in Lanzarote and La Graciosa, as detailed by Canarias7, the implementation includes the ID Vita Home advanced telecare hub, which acts as the nerve center of the system. This central device connects emergency detectors, such as smoke and gas detectors, to a network of sensors that monitor the habits and routines of users. All of this forms an integrated and reliable technological ecosystem.

Advanced telecare as the cornerstone of a regional strategy

Advanced telecare devices are permanently connected to a specialized care center, ensuring a rapid and effective response to any situation. This approach not only allows for action to be taken in an emergency, but also reinforces personal autonomy and combats unwanted loneliness, one of today's major social challenges.

Among the technological solutions developed by Intelligent Data, the ID Vita Home Pro device stands out. This terminal with a screen and multimedia capabilities introduces a new way of interacting with telecare. Thanks to this equipment, it is possible to bring the service closer to users throughinformative multimedia campaigns, personalized surveys, and a voice assistance system powered by artificial intelligence, improving interaction, prevention, and daily support.

According to figures provided by Canarias7 in the published article, more than 160 people are already part of the advanced telecare system in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. In the coming months, the figure will exceed 700 people served, with a regional forecast reaching 20,000 beneficiaries.

In statements made to the Canarian newspaper, institutions have highlighted the positive impact of the model, both in reducing waiting lists and in modernizing the healthcare system, positioning Lanzarote and La Graciosa as pilot territories for its future expansion to the rest of the islands.

At Intelligent Data, we work with a clear vision: to develop advanced telecare solutions that put technology at the service of people. Our participation in this project reinforces our commitment to responsible innovation, system reliability, and real improvements in users' quality of life.

This milestone is not a point of arrival, but rather the beginning of a new stage in which advanced telecare is consolidating its position as a key tool for building a more humane, connected, and sustainable care model.
