Our processes

We are an engineering company with more than 30 years of experience.

The philosophy behind our value chain

At Intelligent Data we attach great importance to the different steps that make up our production processes. For this reason, our main objective is to exceed our clients' expectations and involve them in our entire value chain in order to offer them the best possible results.

On this page, you will find a summary of a work philosophy that has been forged over more than 30 years of experience in the sector.

1. Specifications

The first step in our production process is meet the requirements y required technical specifications by our customers. Taking into account at all times what they need y how to need.

In this first step, our role is to listen carefully to what our customers need and even advise them on more specific aspects, such as technical specifications.

2. Project Proposal

Once we have all the requirements of our clients, we assess and develop a project proposal taking into account both the financial and economic viability of the project.

In this proposal, we also add a plan consisting of deadlines for design e industrialization of the project to achieve both internal and external monitoring by clients. During the same, Intelligent Data seeks the active partnership with customers and proposes different ways to collaborate with it.

Our final objective is to involve them in the entire production process and to take advantage of the feedback from the collaboration.

3. R&D and Industrial Operations

Once the proposal has been approved, our Research, Development and Innovation (R+D+i) departments and the Industrial Operations Department (OPI) begin to work simultaneously and in parallel to develop the first prototype of the project, along with the software and firmware.

Both departments feed back into each other to develop the best product for exceed customer requirements and, of course, to get the optimal results in your mass production. On the other hand, custom-made test tools are also beginning to be developed for pilot production and final mass production.

4. Prototypes

Once we have a prototype that meets all our requirements in terms of assembly, quality and robustness/reliability, we begin the first mechanical tests (water, dust, temperature, etc.)

In the meantime, another of the most sensitive processes when developing a project also begins: certifications. This last step, especially with payment certifications, usually takes less time than usual thanks to our more than 30 years of experience in the sector.

5. Pilot

Once the tests on the prototype have been completed, the first pilot of the product is presented, along with the first versions of the software/firmware for first controlled tests with users to locate possible aspects to improve and changes needed for the final version.

6. Design and software improvements

After the data obtained with the prototypes and the pilot, we will continue our continuous communication with the client to make improvements at the design and software level.

This step is one of the most important in the process, since the user is the best betatester to finish implementing the appropriate improvements in order to obtain the product with the highest possible quality.

7. Mass production

Once we have a definitive version of the project ready for mass production, this takes place completely in Spain through our close collaboration with Denso Ten España, S.A. in Malaga.

During this process, the full potential of the custom-made test tools previously made is obtained to obtain the best results during the process. The entire process follows exhaustive factory and quality controls with intensive in-process communication and constant supervision by Intelligent Data employees.

8. Delivery of the product at the end.

For many other companies, this is the final step in the development of the product and the contractual relationship with the customer would be closed. However, for Intelligent Data, this is a further step in the relationshipThe company is also responsible for the delivery of the final product and for the after-sales service.

9. Aftermarket

Our services cover the entire production chain, so we also ensure the best after-sales service and support to our customers. Offering from new software versions, spare parts and proposing new updates of the product at hardware level in the future, if the client considers it necessary.

The final objective of our production processes is to offer our customers the services they need at all times, including service after delivery of the project product and going one step further than other competitors to ensure maximum quality and satisfaction.
